Meet With Narinder Singh
Narinder Singh, CPA, CGA, is the tax strategy and estate planning partner at WANVORA, with more than 20 years of professional experience across Canada and international financial centres. Where most wealth firms hand the tax question to an outside accountant, Narinder sits inside the relationship, so a client’s financial plan and their tax position are built from the same picture. He holds the CPA and CGA designations in Canada, is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has completed Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program, the deepest technical training available in Canadian taxation.

Narinder specializes in the complex matters where corporate ownership, personal wealth, business succession, and estate planning intersect. His work covers estate and succession planning, estate freezes, corporate reorganizations, post mortem tax planning, holding company structures, intergenerational wealth transfers, and capital gains planning. For families with significant private company, investment, or real estate wealth, this is the difference between a portfolio that grows and a plan that survives a sale, a retirement, or a death without losing more to tax than it needed to.
For families with substantial private wealth, Narinder identifies tax exposure well before a business sale, retirement, succession, or death occurs. His objective is to build structures that preserve after tax wealth and transfer it efficiently to the next generation, while staying fully compliant with Canadian tax legislation. That work only holds up when it is coordinated with the investment and financial plan from day one, which is exactly why it lives inside WANVORA rather than across a hallway at a separate firm.
Before building his practice in Canada, Narinder spent more than 10 years with Ernst & Young across Bermuda, Monaco, Dubai, Oman, and London. That international footing gives him a broader perspective when advising Canadian entrepreneurs and families whose businesses, investments, or family interests reach beyond Canada’s borders.
Narinder believes tax planning should be an integral part of long term wealth and estate management, not a task that starts in March. Rather than focusing only on this year’s liability, he helps clients see how today’s corporate and personal decisions will shape their wealth five, ten, or twenty years out, and ultimately what passes to the next generation. For the families WANVORA serves, that is what turns a strong investment result into wealth that actually reaches the people it was built for.
